The Freedom Kart Challenge Series Rules

Minimum Weight: 360 Lbs.
Exhaust: RLV SSX-V or RLV SSX 4 hole can.
Tire Rule: Bridgeston YHC only 10x4.50-5 front and 11x7.10-5 rear.
Rain Tire: Any treaded rain tire allowed (wet conditions only)
Front Brakes: Not allowed
Carburetor triggers and remotes: Not allowed
Body Work and bumpers: Sprint type body only. No belly pans. Rear bumper must have lower bar installed.
Drive componets: Engine mounted clutch only. No jack shafts or axel mounted clutches. Chain drive only.
Air box: 2 tube WKA approved intake silencer is required (Air Box). An external pre filter or internal air filter is allowed, but not required.

The Points System:

Points will be awarded beginning at 200 for first place and fall in 5 point increments for each position after that.

Example: 1st. = 200, 2nd = 195, 3rd = 190, and so on.

Qualifing Bonus points:

Bonus points are awarded to the 3 top qualifing karts at each event. The bonus points are awarded as follows... 1st. = 15, 2nd. = 10, and 3rd. = 5 bonus points.

DNF:

(Did Not Finish) Points will be awarded based on the order in which karts fall out of the race.

DNS:

(Did Not Start) Paid entrants that do not take the green flag in the feature will receive 100 particpation points.

DNT:

(Did Not pass Tech.) Any kart that does not pass post race Tech. will be scored behind all karts that did pass tech. including karts that DNF. and all points will be awarded accordingly.

Heat race points to set the feature:

Heat race #1: Starting order set by pill draw. Points are 1st. = 1 point, 2nd. is 2 points, ect.

Heat race #2: Starting order inverted from 1st heat race finishing order. Points are awarded the same as the first heat race.

How it all adds up:

Add the points awarded from the heat races together and the lowest total is the pole sitter. Example: A driver finisher 1st in heat 1 and 3rd in heat 2. The driver has 4 points total. If 2 drivers have the same points from the heats the driver that is higher in the points standings will be awarded the position.
